We have another treat for you. Earlier this year we visited Strathcona with John, and he has agreed to take us around Mount Pleasant this time. The tour usually takes about 1 1/2 hours and we get to learn all about the history of the area and the building styles and lots of interesting stories of the inhabitants over the years.
John Atkin is well known locally as a civic historian and heritage consultant. He is very active with the Heritage Foundation of Vancouver, and many of us have probably been on one of his walking tours of various places or areas that he conducts for them in the summertime.
