Games Afternoon

Sunday, March 17th 2-4pm

Your Activities committee is hosting a games afternoon on Sunday, March 17th from 2 to 4pm at the Dunbar Lawn Bowling clubhouse at 3850 West 31st Ave.

The clubhouse was built in 1928 and is a cozy old fashioned place to spend a few hours with friends. The parking lot entrance is located off of 31st Ave. and parking is free.

We are featuring 3 games:

1/ Pick Two - is an ever rearranging crossword game where players draw letter tiles and build their own crosswords quickly in order to make others pick up tiles. First one to use up their tiles wins.
2/ Timelines - Draw cards with different excerpts from history and place them before or after dates of historical events. If you place the tile incorrectly then draw cards. The first one to use up their cards wins.
3/ Rummikub - Use tiles to create a group of tiles of the same number in different colours, or, a run of consecutive numbers in the same colour. The first to use up their tiles wins.

Coffee and tea will be served. You are welcome to bring snacks as the clubhouse has kitchen facilities.

The cost is $10 per person for the facility rental with a maximum of 16.
