How to Write Your Memoir
Activity: A six session course via Zoom
Dates: Starts Monday, February 6, 2023 10 am - 12 pm
Cost: $125
Minimum participants required to go ahead 10 Max 12
This literature based course will examine the structure and techniques employed by current memoir writers; then, you will translate your own memories to the page. Begin a new piece each class or develop longer pieces over multiple classes.
Each class concludes with an (optional) opportunity to share your efforts, and discussion of your work. You will need a laptop, computer or iPad, or pen/paper.

Instructor Bio: Liz Orme is a recently retired secondary school teacher with 30 years of experience. She is the former president of the B.C. Teachers of English Language Arts and has co-authored, with Oxford University Press, three English textbooks for high schools. She has taught online creative writing courses to seniors since fall 2020.
